Design Competition: Terms and Conditions

By entering the competition, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

 

1. Eligibility:

1.1 The competition is open to individuals aged 18 and above.

1.2 Participants must be legal residents of South Africa.

2. How to Enter:

2.1 Entry into the competition requires submitting an original design for a Kecks bumper sticker.

2.2 Submissions should be sent to craig@kecks.co.za by 28th of February 2024.

3. Design Requirements:

3.1 Designs must be original and not infringe on any third-party copyrights or trademarks.

3.2 Designs should reflect the brand's identity and values.

3.3 Offensive or inappropriate content will result in disqualification.

4. Prize:

4.1 The winning design will be featured as an official bumper sticker for Kecks.

4.2 The prize also includes an outdoor experience around Cape Town valued at R1500 (OR Kecks merchandise to the value of R1500 Retail Selling Price) PLUS a possible opportunity to see your design on future Kecks merchandise in future, if we love it.

4.3 The outdoor experience prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

5. Winner Selection:

5.1 The winning design will be selected by a panel of judges appointed by Kecks.

5.2 The decision of the judges is final and binding.

5.3 The winner will be notified via email by 7 March 2024.

6. Rights:

6.1 By entering the competition, participants acknowledge and agree that Kecks shall retain copyright ownership of the winning design.

6.2 Participants grant Kecks the right to use, modify, and reproduce the submitted design for any promotional purposes.

7. Publicity:

7.1 Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for Kecks to use the winner's name, likeness, and design for promotional purposes without further compensation.

8. Disqualification:

8.1 Kecks reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions.

8.2 Any attempt to manipulate or compromise the integrity of the competition will result in disqualification.

9. Liability:

9.1 Kecks is not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected entries.

9.2 Kecks is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage related to or resulting from participation in the competition.

10. Modification or Termination:

10.1 Kecks reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the competition at any time.

11. Governing Law:

11.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa.
